Computer vision for bioimage features (Python, OpenCV, Streamlit)
The story behind DataLens.Tools
Hi, I am a data and academic research scientist working at the interface of computational biology and data science, with over 15 plus years of experience in German academia. Throughout my research journey, I often found myself spending more time wrangling with messy datasets, clunky analysis workflows, and incompatible tools than actually gaining insights from my experiments.
That experience, equal parts frustrating and eye-opening,planted the seed for DataLens.Tools.
DataLens.Tools is a remote-first platform developed and operated from Germany, born out of real-life research struggles. Its vision is shaped by my personal journey and discussions with researchers and technologists from different parts of the world.
Our mission is to empower researchers, especially those from non-technical backgrounds with intuitive, powerful tools for analyzing biological data, whether it’s fluorescence microscopy, wing kinematics, or spreadsheet chaos.
We are committed to making data analysis not just easier but more accessible and enjoyable for life scientists around the world.
Let’s make data analysis easier, together.
